I know many people suffer from seasonal allergies (me included). As I posted yesterday I frequent pollen.com almost daily once mine kick in. Well now folks you can check the allergy count right from reading my blog. At the left sidebar you will see Allergy Report. Type in your zip code and a box will open with the pollen count and tell you what nasty offenders are making you sneeze and so miserable. Sorry to my Canadian and European friends, this is for US only.
Thanks to Kirk, who helped me with adding the java script since I am still a novice at hosting my own blog. I try to keep my questions down to one a day though so he won’t get too sick of seeing another email from Elaine, pestering him with my incessant questions

Good job. Now you can tell me how you managed to get that MSN emoticons add-on working in WLW. I never could get the darn things to show up in the posts.
Hey cool! You’re da shiznit Elaine!
Hmmmm … you ask a lot of questions, Elaine? Who would have ever guessed!
Today I feel like a full-fledged Michiganite. For the first time this winter (gee, is it still officially winter?), the snow thrower in the garage gets to be used. Gonna don some wintery clothes and go outside to do that in a few. Janet from nearby here in Connecticut was closer to the accumulation than I a couple days back — close to a foot.
Your site is looking pretty darn jazzy here. Nicely done!

Elaine,
I thought you would talk about The Ides of March on the 15th, your special day. Oh well, anything for St. Patrick’s Day? Love your place!

Hi Elaine !!!
Thanks so much for the e-mail letting me know what you have been doing .
Looks really super, you have done a great job
setting your web page up !
Keep up the good work my friend .
Take care for now .
Oh My…. Our pollen count is Med–High… Yikes! I’m one of the few who probably doesn’t have many problems with the pollen at this time of year. I’m more of a fall allergy person when it comes to seasonal allergies. I feel for all you who do have spring allergies, though. I do have bad allergies, so I know how miserable they are, just not the ones most other people have! I’m more allergic to trees, foods, animals, AND THE SUN, but not pollen or poison ivy. Go Figure!
Hi Elaine,
Wow. I’m liking that “How Many Days Til Spring” report you have posted here. Woo hooo, only 3 more days until the Vernal Equinox! (I’m not that smart .. I never remember the words Vernal Equinox from one year to the next .. I heard it on TV this morning .. lol).

My allergies and sinus reactions to the changing of the seasons are a perfect reminder to me that Easter is just around the corner… a time for personal renewal, long walks in the desert foothills, and Spring-Summer wardrobe sales at Nordstroms and Macys
Of all my allergies, I am happy to say that I do not suffer from seasonal allergies like pollen and such. I feel badly for you though. My husband does NOT SNORE!! WOO HOO!! Unless his neck is kinked in a funny way, but since he bought this new memory foam pillow that doesn’t happen anymore either… knock on wood, fingers crossed that doesn’t change anytime in the future. When you become a Grandma you are lucky because most often you get them from the time they are tiny, not just suddenly a toddler thrust into your life… lol! It was fun though to have little G around. Have a wonderful week. -S-
