There was a comment yesterday about adding an update alert. Acting upon that suggestion I added subscribe by email on the side bar. Just type in your email address and follow the prompt. You will only receive email when I update so it will not be every day. Hope this helps my MSN friends who are accustomed to using MSN Space alerts.

I was so happy to read about your surprise party for your dad. How wonderfully sweet that must have been for him… I’m glad that all turned out so well. I always wonder when people loose their mate at young ages why some choose to remarry and others don’t. I think your dad must have really loved your mom…

There’s also a plugin you can use called “Subscribe to Comments” which allows your commenter’s to subscribe to any single post (whether they leave a comment or not) so they are notified when anyone else leaves a comment on that particular post. The plugin also allows the subscriber to manage their own subscriptions without having to turn to you to do it. I and many others have incorporated this plugin on our blogs. I like the convenience of not having to remember all the places I leave comments.
