Hello Elaine, thanks for trying to get to my space, yes we have had some funky times on spaces, but glad you kept trying.

Yes i agree with you, Eat less, eat healthy but most people won't
do that, and then the wonder why they are fat.

Hope your week is going well, and hope you enjoy
a safe and great week-end my dear friend !
Take care .

Hi Elaine, it works for me, and besides I don't have a choice, I have to eat healthy and I walk. I used to love sweets, but for some reason, I lost the taste for it, and I did lose weight. I don't want to lose anymore, but if you eat healthy and don't eat till you're full, and exercise a bit , everyone should be ok. Take good care my friend. Luv, Pauline

I am so with you, eat healthy proper sized portions and exercise every day. It's not really rocket science, but I suppose people are STILL looking for that "magic pill" to be "skinny" and healthy. FYI people, just because they are skinny doesn't make them healthy!! It's quite sad actually, if they would take the time to research how bad pop and junk food really is for you and how many pounds you can lose by cutting it out.. even the diet pop... I know everyone says oh oh, aspertame(sp?) isn't bad for you, I disagree.. anyway... it's about making smart choices and then having the courage and strength to follow through! I hope you are having a most wonderful week Elaine. Take care.

I see both sides to this...... Some people have to sit behind a desk a LOT, and this would help with their health. I do see your point, though, to eat healthier and exercise later. Quite frankly, though, I think some people don't have the time....... Its a fast paced world...

I say great idea! Strap yourself in on that treadmill all day. Even have your meals brought there! Will it do any good? I agree you need exercise and a good diet, but first you need commitment. It is hard, just like quitting smoking, there are numerous help aides and they do help but in the end it is the sustained commitment that will make it happen. I'm sorry, there is no easy way out!

I like to share an experience from the past:

Last place I worked, there was an individual who was extremely overweight and that person made a commitment to lose weight. He brought in healthy lunches and walked during lunch time but at the end of the day he walk out of an emergency exit door because it was closer to his car! I don't have to tell you that the healthy lunches and the walks didn't last long.

As long as I eat healthy just about all the time, and get enough exercise, (mostly biking to where ever I have to go), I can indulge in the occasional piece of chocolate or ice cream totally guilt-free. Wonderful!

A simple change in eating habits worked for me. But I must admit, while on vacation I had ice cream. :) Twice.

I always rationalize my eating bad foods to the fact that I have to walk often fairly long distances to get them.
