Once again it’s time to change the look around here. Thank you Micki for sharing the web address of the biggest collection of photos I have ever seen on the net! I wrote to the owner and asked permission to use one as a header image for my blog. Permission was granted.
The image I currently have up is from Tickfaw State Park in Louisiana. He has albums (hundreds of them) from all over the world with wonderful photos. Here is his web address. At the left click on general public pictures. Thank you Alexey Sergeev for sharing your photos and giving me permission to use this on my blog. I will be using more, that’s for sure.

Looks so peaceful.
Sigh
Reminds me of when I was traveling here and there and was able to experience being in places like this. Looks great and fits you well.
I love the picture- make me wish I had the time & money to travel this summer… -Michelle One of a Kind Wisconsin
Looking good, Elaine!
A lovely, mystical photo!
Kirk – you’re right it does fit me
Hubby and I have been going to the Smokey Mts for 20 yrs or more each fall for a week of hiking and trails. This picture makes me antsy to get there!
Michelle – thanks for visiting. I think time is the biggest factor it seems for most people. Even on a limited budget there are good places to visit, finding the time is whole different matter.
Micki – thanks!
Karen – it is mystical looking isn’t it? Hadn’t thought about it that way but you’re right. Of course you’re the artist, not me so you should know.
Love the picture, makes you want to walk into it, bit like your blog!
Love the new look Elaine! He does have some nice scenic photos!
We’re debating on whether to head to the Smokies for a few days during the kids Fall Break in October. We haven’t been so far this yr and by Oct. I’ll be antzy to get *out there*. lol
Mike – Thanks! it is a neat picture
Kimmy – yes he does, very good photographer. Oct is when we go to the Smokeys, usually the 3rd week. When is your vacation?
