"Who tells them the seasons? How do we, humans know when it is time to move on?" .. I love the quote, Elaine.
Sigmund Freud or philosophers could have a fun day 'analyzing' this poem.
Hope the weather has started to cool down there.
Take care ~ Annita

Kimmy - can you believe it's now 48! Brrr, had to turn the furnace on today. But the blast of cold air feels wonderful!
Ottavio - sounds like beautiful spring weather in your part of the world. If your summer is anything like ours...expect hot again!
Beth - little Poco did not like the cold weather this morning, in fact I had to catch him and put him back outside. This afternoon I was at Pet Smart and bought him a little fleece and a tee shirt.
Laoch - I have no problem with anyone who wants to come to this country, after all my ancestors came here too. I do have a problem with it done illegally though.
Rhea - wow!what a sight that must have been. Bet you wish you had a camera handy.

I love seeing the geese flying in their V shapes. Yesterday, I saw 3 red-tailed hawks flying right outside my office window here in Boston.

I believe in amnesty I suppose, because in the end I would rather give people the benefit of the doubt for the most part and be wrong at times than live with the converse.

Elaine,

Really enjoyed the quote , and since I see God's Hand and blessings all around me, I had to smile thinking about the treasure in little things that we see. Hope your weather levels out. Are you going to get Poco a winter sweater to wear? Hope that you all have a great week!

Love and hugs,
Beth

It is mid spring in Australia, sunny with a late shower today and 24 Celsius (75). Last summer was record breaking in terms of average high temperatures and forecasters say we can expect this again this year.
I like the quote, the unknown enthuses me although going there has not always reaped benefits; least I can say I tried and experienced this and that. Little voice within is always urging me on into the unfamiliar, something I would not change.

Have a great week.

The heatwave is disappearing here too! We should be in the upper 70's the next few days.
Love the new quote. I've seen a few flocks of geese fly over the last week or so. I know cool weather can't be far behind.
Don't feel bad about the mail..I did the same thing yesterday! Went out to mow and thought I'd *check the mail* while I was out there. lol Felt silly when I opened it and looked around to see if anyone saw me!

You know that old house did look like something that should have been in Cade's Cove. It's been a long time since we visited that area but it was a joy. Of course the highlight for me was seeing a mother bear and her cub trudging through the brush for berries.

Enjoy the rest of your week sweetie! (((hugs)))
