  1. How’s my what? Elaine, you really know how to hurt a guy!

“Only 23% of men with loss of libido say they still feel very happy about life in general vs. 46% of women.” Since about 30% of women suffer loss of libido, this means that a minimum of 15% of all women are very happy. This doesn’t include the 70% of women who don’t lose libido: I wonder if more than 46% of this group is very happy. One would hope so, but I wouldn’t want to place any bets.

All I can say is that I put Parmesan cheese in in my drink (apple juice, seltzer and a slice of lime) instead of on my spaghetti tonight, so all indications are that I might be preoccupied. This was probably unsettling to those family members who could be bothered to show up at the table (my 9th grade son was safe in the womb of the basement, otherwise known as the alien creature kill zone). The good news is that the shredded cheese floated, so I was able to drink sans problem with a straw.

As to your question, I used to be good at test taking, but that and other abilities seem to have dropped off along the way.

    Best wishes, Jim

I’m guessing it’s easy to suggest this syllabus when you sex life is working out well, right Elaine? :o )

I’ve sent a number of these articles to family and friends. You have some great instincts here. But will those who need help read? You can lead a lover to water…

  3. Elaine says:

James – LOL you have a great sense of humor, thanks for the writing. Chuckled too at “the alien creature zone” oh I so remember those days when my son was in 9th grade. Luckily they grow out of it.
Grandalfe - “will those that need help read” don’t know, guess it depends if they’re happy or unhappy with their sex life ;-)

  4. Now there’s a change of subject! LOL
    Thanks Elaine…

  5. Thanks Elaine! I think it is fair to say that my sense of humor is not universally appreciated. I enjoyed your post and the chance to respond- a little off topic from most of my writing, which as been on the environment primarily, and on fiction. Best wishes for the holidays and New Year, Jim
