And then when you find a pair at a little non-mainstream boutique the taxation goes up even more. I just dropped $80 on these house slippers for my girlfriend a few months back which was mind blowing to me since my reefs were only $50ish and can go outside. The trick is to find the style you love in the store and then go discount hunting online. Kinda a pain, but worth it in the end.
