After the last 3 days on Wall Street, and we still have 2 MORE DAYS, sometimes you just have to laugh. So let’s quit pickin’ on Sarah Palin, she may be our next President after all. I sure hope those 5 colleges in 6 years for a 4 year degree taught her well in economics, she’s going to need it.
Maybe John McCain should send her to The Wharton School of Economics for a refresher course. And since he has said 22 times in this campaign, “The fundamentals of our economy are strong” perhaps it would be a good idea for him to tag along.
It’s been a frightening week on Wall Street! Sadly it seems that the worst is not over.
Can’t get Huhu over here. Seems they only stream it in the States. Could use a laugh though… with my fixed pension from over there going down the tubes, and the exchange from dollar to Euro here also tanking, I’m shaking my head, and have started biting my nails again… This morning, I saw a clip of a Palin non-answer to, “What specific, (wish I could italicize here…), knowledge do you have in foreign policy?”, and she responded with, (don’t have the exact words here, but pretty close), “I’m sure I’m prepared, and I trust my running mate’s judgement in picking me…” While it may not tell us much about her specific foreign policy knowledge, it speaks volumes about her running mate’s judgement!!!
Okay, I’m putting aside all the considered, well thought out, insightful type dribble I usually post (uh-huh) and sit back and laugh. Just what I needed, Elaine. Many thanks indeed!
We sure lowered our standards….. but then again comedians need to make a living and without the likes of Sarah Palin it will be very difficult for the comedians to make us laugh…….
why only people in the USA can see this video ? Do they not think people in Canada hear about all their bailouts of banks and insurance companys and how the CEO’S of these companys are just walking away to their mansions with millions of $$$$$$$,…….
while the people who worked at these companies are left with nothing all their savings and retirement gone………and all this over greed.like chairman mao said in his little red book, capitalisim will distroy itself and it sure is doing a good job at it……
