Yes, if you were a former GOP member before Bush, things weren’t so bad. What happened to the Reagan years? Anyway, choosing Palin was the last straw for me.

Thank you all for your comments! I know it’s a hot topic on both sides of the party that gets people riled up. I can across yesterday one of the best articles I have read on McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin.

I am so turned off by politicians that I have switched to the “Decline to State” party. Nothing they do surprises me anymore. I too was a GOP member at one time, but that was in the pre-Bush days. Is it too much to ask for a bit of intelligence now and then? Apparently yes.

Absolutely agree. Unfortunately, Cindy won’t have to put up with John all day. He will still be a senator when, please God, he fails to gain the Presidency. He can still mess things up from there.

America needs change and it appears that McCain is offering more of the same. He is rash in his judgements, imprudent and puts himself first over everything, his family and now his country! I believe he is so enamour with himself that he will do anything to be president regardless of the consequences of his decisions. His VP choice is a prime example of this.

We need intelligent individuals to now lead our country not more of the medoicre ones that have been for the last several years. I could go on but I just ask people to clear their minds of all prejudices, listen, think about what is being said and done without bias to race or religion and then choose who would be the best leader to lead this country, not on race, not on religious believes, not on gender and not on party.
