iGoogle great theme

iGoogle

What do you use for your home page? I use iGoogle so I can have my email, and news reader to follow my favorite blogs, plus all the other information I want at my fingertips on the same page. I just discovered the Tommy Hilifiger theme (under artists themes) and I love this one!! The changing image is peaceful, serene, and relaxing.

For any of you using iGoogle for your home page definitely check out this theme.

I will try to post next week from DC or North Carolina but don’t hold me to it ;-)

Have a great weekend everyone!

I read about this site on John Chow today it’s called http://www.43marks.com – its like Igoogle but better cuz you can add you own bookmarks and the bookmarks can be websites not just gadgets and RSS feeds although you can upload your favorite RSS feeds too. Its free and totally customizable. Plus you don’t have to login to see your bookmars and RSS feeds

    Have an epic trip!

I use the Lance Armstrong theme. Like you, I enjoy having everything handy at a glance.

I use I-google too, right now I have the Astroboy theme.
43marks looks pretty cool, but I-google works for me, and I’ve always got my bookmarks as a part of my screen with Firefox.
    Have a wonderful trip!

Bobby – it does look pretty neat, thanks for the recommendation, but iGoogle is set up perfectly for me so I’ll stick with it for now.
    Laoch - Thanks!
Delmer – that theme suits you perfectly :-) I can see why you chose it.
Cilicious- thanks! I’ll have to take a look at your theme.

Okay, I’m boring…I admit it. I don’t often admit to such things but…I’m finally admitting it–I’m boring.

    And…

    …I don’t iGoogle.

    It scares me.

I don’t even sign in unless I want to look at my AdSense or Google Reader and when I’m finished…

I sign right back out again.

It’s just the plain-old-boring “not-signed-in” Classic Google home page for me.

    That way…

    Nobody’s watching (sshhh!).

I did actually sign into iGoogle today (don’t tell…) just to see if it changed at all. They had this new “Canvas” thing going on and they call it a “Platform” now instead of “Portal”…

    That scared me…

    So I signed back out.

    And cleared my cookies.

    And my history.

Now they can’t see me. :P

(I think I’ll turn that into a Tin Foil Hat post…whaddayah think?)

@Kirk M: You totally crack me up, I can’t imagine not having an awesome customized home page with everything I want so handy. What is it exactly you don’t like about iGoogle? Besides, canvas, platform, portal (whatever the heck that is). Better get working on the tin foil hat ;-)

  8. Kirk M says:

Oh, you know me. Always going against the grain (and having a lot of fun doing it too). ;)

  9. This is the same theme I have on my iGoogle!

I’m not using IGoogle but it seems that it has great themes! I’l check it out soon. :)
