Love your slideshow–it’s like a Christmas card.
It’s *very* cold here now, the last snow was in 1989–who knows, maybe this will be the year it returns.
When we lived in Colorado, I loved snow in December; it was the rest of the months (March..May…September!) that I did not welcome it.
I like the ‘Words to Ponder,” they are, in my experience, quite true.

Janey - glad the Flickr show worked! I hear you about the cloudy days, those pictures were taken as the snow was coming down. Fortunately MI has a decent amount of sun in the winter or I would be pulling my hair out too. Mary- we typically have snow from Thanksgiving through March. It started early this year and we turned the furnace on beginning of October which is early for us. Rhea - Boston always gets it's fair share, enjoy your lack of snow while it lasts. Lisa - Mt.Brighton is 10 miles from my home. But if you want REAL SNOW and skiing then head up north where the Upper Peninsula meets the lower. Boyne Mt is about 3½ hours north of where I live and it's gorgeous up there! Definitely worth a weekend visit since you're from Ohio. Here in Boston we are having our first real snow. It’s snowed lightly all day. No accumulation. But still snow.

Our weather forecasts change from day to day and I think they underestimated the amount of snow we were supposed to get. However, we have much less than you have. Nice pictures. I will have to check flickr.

Yes your flickr slide show works great. What a beautiful home you have. Can’t say as I’d love the weather. If the sun doesn’t shine for two days in a row where I live, I begin to pull my hair out, one at a time of course.
