Hey stranger!
Shame you didn't give Blackberry another try, I use a Bold 9000 here in UK on Orange and I have to say is best device I have owned (and I've had a few, lol). Am a bit of an Apple fan, using a Mac to run my business and wouldn't be without my iPod/iTunes, but the touch screen out me off iPhone (hate fingerprints), hence the bold ~ keyboard is briiliant, push email superb and yes, Facebook, Msn Messenger and Twitter all work flawlessly.

Anyway, how's you? long time no speak... we pretty much snowed in in good ole West Country, lol!

Hope to catch up soon....

Brenda - wow guess you really do hate shopping *LOL* I wouldn't want stores or restaurants to close but I would like to see improvement in customer service!
Janey - I agree with you...with so many out of work one would think that if you do have a job you'd be doing your best to keep it!
Dave - probably was the Bold, which I would have looked at had it not been for her.
Karen - Thanks!
Cilicious - it is very cool, you would definitely like it.
Mike - Welcome and thanks for stopping in. I agree with you, it's not just one wireless carrier, that attitude seems prevalent at many of them.
Keli - wow your house is full of iPhones. Guess that's good for you though if you get one, immediate response to any questions about setting it up :-)
Walt - long time no see, where in the heck have you been? Thought you left the blogsphere. Good to see you again.

Good for you and your iPhone! So a stuper (short as you well know, for a ridiculously stupid person) helped you make your decision!
The 3 men I live with (2 almost-men) have iPhones which they constantly show off to me. I have to say that my computer/technical/mechanical whiz son provided us with a detailed list of why we should use AT&T over Verizon. He was right.

Your experience at the Verizone store is very similar to the experiences I have had at not one but three different Alltel stores. These places seem to employ people who think they know everything about every phone made and that you are an idiot.
True I may not know everything but it is not my job to. Cell phone carriers need to work on their customer service.

I think the other phone Mary was talking about above, was the Blackberry Bold. Now that,s a nice phone, though not touch screen.

I'm glad you're happy Elaine.. I have an iPod Touch and love it (everything but the phone and camera).

I have loads of great apps on my Touch... there's so much out there for FREE!!!

I don't know much about either of these phones but I think my niece had a storm that she exchanged.
As far as the rude employee, I say report her. There must be hundreds right now that would love to have her job. I'm not in retail stores often, but I've notice people in general being a lot more cheerful and happy to help. Guess those people want to keep their jobs.
