Well this is good to know, along with red wine for my heart, caffeine and Mediterranean diet for my brain I just might live to celebrate a 100. Course having enough money to last that long is highly doubtful. Hell having enough money to retire in mid 60’s is looking bleak. Good thing my husband and I both like red wine, caffeine and a healthy diet so we can work till we drop.
Feb. 19, 2009 — The odds of having a stroke may be lower for tea drinkers and coffee drinkers.
That’s according to two studies presented today in San Diego at the American Stroke Association’s International Stroke Conference 2009.

This is good news as I only really drink tea and fruit juice these days
You’ve worked hard at changing your diet, you’re headed for the Centenarian Club.
Hmm.
Almost without fail, I have one cappuccino in the morning, and green or black tea (one cup) in the afternoon. I guess this will sustain me because I’ll probably be working until I drop, too.
LOL I think a lot of us will be working way longer than we had originally planned.
It seems with all these excellent tips you’re providing, those who follow will move way past even 100! I knew tea was good, but I’m happy to hear the same is true for coffee. I know, retirement keeps moving farther down the line…
I live for coffee, jazz, and my family/friends. Do a scientific study on that plan. Actually, never mind. I probably wouldn’t read it anyway.

I had a TIA (mini-stroke) in November and drink 4-6 cups of coffee and/or tea a day. So there is always one that falls outside the sample eh?
Of course doctors recently found that saliva causes cancer, but only if swallowed in small amounts over a long period of time. Keep smiling.
Wonderful blog!

Keli - retirement? what’s that
Grandalfe – and you have a great attitude which goes a long way.
Denis – thanks for stopping by, appreciate the comment. Sorry about the TIA, how are you doing now?
