A must watch interview for every American as the debate heats up, how to fix health care in America. With almost 20 years inside the health insurance industry, Wendell Potter saw for-profit insurers hijack our health care system and put profits before patients. Now, he speaks with Bill Moyers about how those companies are standing in the way of health care reform.
I can’t imbed the video but here’s the link, the interview is 35 minutes in length.

PATIENTS FOR PROFITS
Elaine I am Canadian……and I just want to say I applaud Wendell Potters on his talk with Bill Moyers…I believe he is being very truthful about the American Health Care, We here in Canada do not pay nothing for health care, it all comes out of everyones taxes and everyone is covered rich and poor alike, it is the family doctor to check us out and then send us to the specialist in the field of his findings and we may get a second opinion from another specialist before proceeding with the treatment we need all at no cost to us.
We have no co-pay at all nothing, working people or welfare it makes no difference at all everyone is taken care of, and we do not have long waits in emergency rooms, however if you do go to a private clinic because all you have is a runny nose, or some small medical problem you are free to go to the clinic and it still cost you nothing, all you have to do is show you have a medical card to prove you are a Canadian citizen that is issued by the Canadian Govt. I find it so hard to believe that the USA being the richest country in the world lets an insurance company say what treatment one can get instead of what the doctor ordered. I do hope someday peoples health care in the USA is more important than the greed on Wall Street. If I were an American I would be voting for Universal health care like we have here in Canada.
