Southern Michigan residents are learning that devastating oil spills aren’t limited to the Gulf Coast.
Crews were working Wednesday to contain and clean up an estimated 3,319,708 litres of oil that coated birds and fish as it poured into a creek and flowed into the Kalamazoo River, one of the state’s major waterways.

I saw this on the news last night. So very sad.
It is, and an eye opener on the age of these pipe lines.
OMG will this ever stop? Is there ever going to be an end to all this madness? What a crying shame.

Don’t know Jodi, just seems non-stop anymore all the crazy stuff happening to our planet. Who would have thought a frickin oil spill in MI? Not me.
There are no reasons for all the damage that companies do to the lakes and lands of our nations, the only reason any of the horiffic problems is a company’s bottom line……and the people end up paying for the clean up so as not to effect the bottom line of these greedy businesses. When is enough profit enough
